Le Ortensie Bed and Breakfast is located on the eastern part of the Como Lake in a lovely villa of the beginning of the sixties immersed in the luxuriant green.
The B&B is runned directly by the owner, paying a great attention to all details in order to satisfy the most demanding guests.
All room are carefully furnished in different colours to offer a sense of relaxation and peace. With the health and well-being of our clientela in mind, Le Ortensie Bed and Breakfast is a non smoking environment.
Car parking is also available in our private courtyard.

Accomodation
We offer a confortable accomodation in a quiet and very peaceful position on the lake river. We offer three bedrooms to our guests: one double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower with a private entrance.
We have two more bedrooms: one with four beds, a double bed and a bulk bed ideal for family, and one bedroom with twin or matrimonial bed and direct access to the garden.
At Le Ortensie breakfast is served in the charming livingroom from which you will have an enchanting view of the lake, during summertime in the garden.
Right in front of the Bed & Breakfast you will find a lovely beach for your relaxing moments.
Motorboat cruising departing every day is the perfect way to discover the numerous beauties of the Como lake, where you can practice several water sports.

Nearby facilities
The shores of the lake are still today caracteried by series of small villages with bell towers in natural stones and beautifull villas with steps leading down to the lake, statues , fountains and magnificent gardens.
The best way to visiting villas and their gardens is by boat. The view from the water gives you the opportunity to see their setting in the landscape.
